Looking for LA area PT Studio...

Hey LA area Slutz...

Looking for an inexpensive PT/Studio situation where I can cut some female lead voc's and nothing else... Usually work out of my place, but they just started construction next door... Consequently, I need a cheap hourly place with a decent LD condensor choice or two...some decent comps... and maybe an iso room if possible...

anybody have some referrals?

If you spit, you'll probably hit one... Where are you located?

I'm in Malibu, but willing to fan out into the Santa Monica, West LA, Hollywood area's.... will potentially consider the valley...

I know a guy in the Torrence area who has a small studio, iso booth, vocals is about all he does. The gear won't blow you away, but the guys ears will. PM me if interested.

I've got a friend in Studio City that has a small/mid-sized studio that is to die for... For the longest time he was an analog-only studio, but I believe he now has a PT HD system in there as well. The choice of mics includes U47s, UM57s, M49s, ELA-M250s, etc... The rest of the gear is equally beautiful. PM me if you want details.

I've been doing some work out of a place in Studio City, PD-HD3, Control-24, some Neve pre/eqs, GML pres, ADL compressors, 1176 & LA3s, and a decent if not spectacular mic collection, including a couple of SPA modded u-87s. The studio's around (I'm guestimating here) 20 x 22 x 10, pretty absorbent.
A good OD room, & I can probably get you a good rate there.
Drop me an e-mail,
