Thread Starter | OK, Old-School Guys.... Anyone Have a TASCAM 3440?
My friend in Maryland is/was going to transfer some 1/4" tapes to CD for me using his TRASHCAN (TASCAM) 3340. The tapes are both 1/4 track and 4 track 1/4", so that deck would do both fine. Problem... the capstan motor is not turning! I am in Texas and the deck is in the D.C. area, so I can repair it (he ain't a tech either.) Does anyone HAVE one or even recall anything about the 3440 that would shed some light on the problem? If I had it here with me it'd be working! Danny Brown |
