| Lives for gear | anyone have a manual for a mx8 midi patchbay asking for a friend in a pinch. he needs to have access to a manual like right now. i'm sure he'd be willing to throw some moola at anyone who could perhaps fax a copy of the manual to him (it's a small manual). i used to own one, but too many years ago to edit one now by memory. email if by some chance you could help a guy out just before he goes to do a rather important live show. (somehow he lost all the info he needed in shipping or something like that, i haven't gotten the whole story yet - just the call for help.) thanks in advance. |

| Lives for gear | sent a pm. thanks much. make sure phil (the guy this is for) can send or paypal you a little thank you for the effort. just include some contact info in your email and i'll be sure to tell phil to take care of you. you tend to rock. no way i could remember how to edit this from the front panel without a reminder. i haven't owned one for many years now. |

| Lives for gear | ps: he has to get it up and working tomorrow, so please do send it asap. sorry to be a pest. the event is monday morning out of town, so that is why they are so pressed. otherwise, they would order one from one of the music stores which only seem to want to send one in the mail. here's hoping those guys can get their showcontrol working (which uses an mx8 midi patchbay as part of the system). |

| Lives for gear | i must not have used the right google term, so i bow to you as king of google searches. i tried a few variants of mx8 and digital music corp, but never got to a manual (that i know of). lots of posts or reviews, but i hadn't seen a link to the manual. more importantly, the guy downloaded it on his laptop at the airport on the way to the show and are working on getting the programming right so they are ready for the show tomorrow. i got an incredibly elated email from him. thanks to this thread here. it turns out that throwing up the bat signal really worked this time, and they were in a pinch. thanks again for an incredible response that was passed on to a friend in need of a real quick answer. they used the link and are happy. |
