D-essing

D-essing, I've noticed on many new records that it's needed. I've been listening to John Maer, Continuum and it sounds great overall. On one of my favorite tracks on the album track 5, "The Heart Of Life" his SSSSS get a little too much for my taste. A lot of the Ca/Ka sounds are too exentuated on a lot of stuff as well. The other album that comes to mind is Coldplay, XY. Is anyone else hearing this? I've been using spitfish and if you spend some time tweaking it and use it sparaingly I think it works great...
