Too many light pipes not enough hash pipes, light the hash pipe and think about the light pipes again. Honestly I have no freaking idea. Good luck with it though. take care Logan

It might be helpful if you explain your steup a little more carefully. Slow down and tell us again like we're stupid.
Also, make sure you are clocking the hashpipe properly or you will get jittery. David

Thanks David
I think I remember you guys is there a guy named Robert I think we used to sell him gear from TMT Music years ago!Anyway my dellima is that I am running 3 hammerfall converters into a Frontier Dakota sound card and expansion montana card all totalling 32/32 Although I am only using 24 in and 24 out. The software program is LOGIC 5.5.1 I am trying to incorporate a Tascam dm 24 digital board for mixing and monitor tracking purpose.Lets start with one converter system at a time.SAY i AM TRACKING A GUITAR i INPUT ANALOGUE INTO THE PATCH BAY INTO CONVERTER BANK 1 AND LIGHTPIPE TO THE SOUNDCARD INTO LOGIC ,THEN OUT OF THE SOUNDCARD INTO THE IN OF THE DIGITAL BOARD FOR MONITORING , When the sound is played in, I seem to get no input to the software .If there are othe routing possibilities I would love to give them a go Do you think this is a clocking issue? Thanks David for responding I no this sounds anal

Robb,
I don't know if this is the problem but ADAT cables are notoriously easy to break, so it could be one of your cables. I am also now glad I didn't buy a dm24 because I keep hearing about them breaking.
Did you have a system that worked and you started adding more components, or is this a brand new setup? You should start by getting a path in/out of the sysytem that works, then add piece by piece until you figure out where the problem is.
Where is your place and what kind of music are you doing? David
