Studer A810 price

What is a reasonable price for a Studer A810 in great condition with a reel of Quantegy 456?

Well the reel of 456 easily adds $500 to the price. That's all I can say.

if a blank roll of tape is $500 i wonder how much an MRL calibration tape costs...

Thousands... I understand that they only exist in studios run by grumpy men with gray hair and plaid shirts...

I paid £500 (about $700) for mine last year, I was lucky though I think they usually go for a bit more than that. I don't think the tape really adds any value to it.

I have seen one on eBay where the seller was asking around $1500.00, but since I have one I was not going to bid and didn't keep up with the auction.
Truthfully, I think the seller was a broker company that always ask too much on eBay.

It seems that I heard of another going cheaper like in the $750.00 range.

Truthfully, it just depends on how nice the deck is and how bad you want it.
They just don't show up that often.
I didn't really need one, but got mine for free and put about $30.00 in parts and about six hours into refurbing it.
So, free on the low side and $1500.00 on the high side.
