The analogue ones sound very nice, but maybe not what a strict slut would called high end. They are smooth and full-bodied, and are the most hi-fi broadcast consoles I've ever worked with (well, there was this RCA from 1959 once, which is soon being taken out of service, and I've notified the station's general manager that I am the next owner of that console...but anyway). The digital ones sound like CDs in 1983 - don't bother. The best analogue ones (1970s-80s) were sold under the name Pacific Recorders, BTW. |
