Smile Help me spend my money!

Okay, my DAW is starting to shape up now. Here's where I am:

Mics: Gefell UMT70S, Royer 121, TLM103, SM 57
Pres: GR MP-2NV, Pendulum Quartet
Comp: FMR RNC
Interface: RME Fireface 800
DAW: iMac G5 w 2 GB RAM
Software: Logic Pro 7 and BFD.
Monitors: Genelec 8030A's

I've got a grand to spend (not a penny more), and am thinking one of the following:

1. A pair of matched Josephson C42s for acoustic guitar, general stereo mic stuff
2. A used Mackie Control Universal and MOTU Midi Express 128
3. Melodyne Uno, BFD FXL, maybe some new guitar pedals a la Austone Vibro Stomp...

Very different options, I know, but if you had to choose one of these things and work around the others for the next (say) 6 months, which would you do?

You said what I was secretly hoping someone would say! I thought for sure everyone would insist I go for the control surface.

Or say that a stereo set of mics is a MUST...

But you're right, the third option is the FUN one.

what to do??
