Recommendation for a VU Meter

I just got a SPL 2381 monitoring unit and now I'm looking for a VU meter. Any recommendations for decent basic model that's not too expensive? Thanks!

Coleman MB2

Haven't tried it myself, but I was considering checking out the MB4 before I decided I could probably get by without it.

Thanks, though $400 seems a bit high for just a meter (considering that the SPL monitoring unit was only $700).

Dorrough meters aren't gonna save you any money either, but they're nice.

Just thought I'd mention it.

I just got me a box full of old but working VUs for DIY racking
Any ideas where I can get driver amps? (preferred 24V DC stab. or -/+15V)
thanks a bunch

oh yeah... Sifam, API for VU
NTP, RTW for plasma
standalone VU? Coleman or secondhand.
Which SPL box might that be?
