- DYNAUDIO ACUSTIC AIR15 + AIR BASE 1 = 3700EUR

ADAMs. and sub isnt that necessary... although if you like the bass to drop.... i have the S3-A's w/o a sub and find them more than adequate.

Adams are nice and a lot of guys here like them, without a sub though. They are more of a midfield than a nearfield. I think there are other worthy choices out there that are non powered you just supply the amp.

Hi Miha. I would submit you ought to add Quested to mix, so to speak...(pun painfully intentional)

I think you'll find the AIR BASE-2 to be a better match for the AIR 15's...as the 15's already have a single 10.

You can get a second-hand pair of ATCs (SCM-20A + sub, or just 50s with no sub) for that kind of money.

The 50s are more mid-field though.

I love mine in a way that could be considered illegal in some countries..

I'm using a set of the SLS S8R, and am amazed at the sound.

Check em out, I'm just a basement hack (studio wise, but boy can I drum) but I hear stuff on familiar recordings that I've NEVER heard before. YMMV thanks for listening, Tommy
(had to edit, can't spell worth crap these days) I must be getting old........

I've got Gen's they work fine when a mix is going well, they tell me when mix going DOWN . Friends doing the pop stuff for big arty typals pop divas use Gen's (GUESS THEY ARE POP SPEAKS), lots of top, but Quested and Dyno would be my choice for main room biggy's.

How ever the 1038a's are a bit cheaper.
