Redco for cables, or buy the cable and connectors there and make them yourselves

I have used Event Horizon several times. Always quick shipping, very well made cables.

+1 for Redco... excellent service from good people.

If you're not the soldering type, I believe they have a "design your own cable" thing where you give them the specs and they'll put 'em together for you.

Redco--they come faster than expected. Great cables. Custom. Inexpensive.

with Redco...just make sure your order is taken and prepared correctly. I few months ago, I ordered a few things to complete my mogami cable setup I had already.
I tried to ordered "RED" 6pin tube cable...I paid for "RED" 6pin tube cable....... but they were going to ship me "black" cable because they didnt have RED. Good thing I called to check the other. They got real pissed because I didnt want it...lol

but that was one salesperson.

my other 2 previous orders(smaller) were prepared/shipped fast and correctly.

Five of the cables I carry are directional: van den Hul Integration Hybrid, Cardas Audio Golden Chord, Evidence Audio Lyric HG and Melody, this based on manufacturers specified directionality and all expcept the Melody are either twinax or quad and I lift the shield on the source end.

The arrow points to the destination end, which for guitar cables is the amp and for speaker cables is the speaker. from my own research, the jury is still out on whether directionality produces an improved audible result, but the logic and science behind it to me makes sense.

I just bought stuff to make 8 - 20ft mic cables and a 8 channel rack snake from Redco. All Mogami and Neutrik for a freakin' song. Looking forward to soldering for the next week.

It has to do with how the conductors are exuded to make them cylindrical - there are directional markings that occur which can be seen under a microscope...

Directional markings?

Personally, if I were a dealer, I wouldn't deal with any company that put arrows on their cables.

yeah but how does that affect electron flow?Just a piece of advice -folks here are not like audiophiles-almost everybody has a good grip of electronics and if you say it is science better be prepared to give good proof.Do you any info supporting the fact that the direction of extrusion affects electron flow
