Thanx to GIK Acoustics

Just had to say something about the wonderful experience I had dealing with Glen and Bryan (Anthony too) at GIK acoustics.

I worked closely with Brian throughout the planing stages of the room treatment for my new studio. His knowledge and willingness to spend countless hours fitted in around his vacation prooved invalueable. Together we came up with room treatment that not only tamed the acoustics but added to the client appeal as well.

Glen brought it all together with a high level of quality, at a price that challanges anyone in that field. Anthony worked overtime to put it all on my doorstep in record time.

These folks are a pleasure to work with and get my highest recomendation for anyone looking to treat any kind of acoustic enviroment, be it big budget or small.

Thanx again guys for a job well done.

John

I second that. Though I haven't yet followed through with the purchase yet, when I finally do, it will most definitely be with Glenn. He has been without question the most responsive, honest, and flexible I could have imagined, as I make decisions with regards to trapping my rooms.

Very trustworthy people at GIK!

Wow man those pictures look really nice. Really sir thank you so much for the order and kind words. It was as a pretty big order and right at the time when orders where flooding in. which they still are but it is nice to have guys like Anthony working for me that take pride in orders not being late and quality to be top notch.
If you can send me some more pictures, would love to put them up on our website.

Glenn

Hey Tampa,

The cascading east to west, on pic 2, can actually cause a reverse node from the adjacent wall, Id watch out for that!

J/K,

I wanted to sound like I knew something!

Nice control room, real nice!

That's a cool looking room, did you just open up or have you been established for a while? Would love to see what the live room looks like.

I love GIK! thumbsup

Hey John.

Thanks for the kind words. The space you had laid out was a pleasure to work with. Best of luck in your venture!

Glenn is punk rock! I met Glenn a few months ago and stayed about half the weekend in Atlanta checking out his facility, meeting his employees & his girlfriend Ines (she came from Germany and during a nice sushi dinner discovered we may be related as her last name is Kuhn which was my mom's maiden name and half of me is straight off the boat German!) and GIK is one hell of an operation. Glenn cares about what he does, and for a front man in a rock band (http://www.cogburns.com/news.htm) he's pretty humble.

I've been using GIK 242, 244, Monster and Tri Traps ever since picking up the line and they are great...do what they say they'll do...and are well built. Kudos to Glenn for bringing right priced panels to the people!

Shweeet.

I purchased 5 panels about a year ago for my humble project studio. Glenn was helpful. Still have plans to pick up a few more...someday. Recommended for the little guys too.

Yea War it was great to meet you also. BTW if anyone is looking for a company to buy recording gear from I would recommend Front End Audio all day long. These guys really do care about every piece of gear they sell.

Thanx for all the nice comments on the rooms. It's been a lot of work. Just opened up last week after 3-4 months of the usual way over budjet back breaking work.

Working now to get a web site up and get the word out.

The control room, as well as, the live room and drum room all have 12' ceilings. The drum room even has a rubber floor so drums stay put. Here's a couple more pics.
