Control 24 is awesome. Mackie Control is very disappointing in that you can't flip the faders for Pro Tools. As stated in the other posts, controlling plugins with the Mackie is tedious. With C24 it's a breeze to flip the faders and tweek away. I haven't tried the Command 8. I think the Mackie is better for Cubase, Neundo and the like where you can flip faders, among other things.

You should be able to flip faders in HUI mode, no?

Yes you can, like the previous poster I've always thought that flip was not possible in HUI mode, because the flip button is hidden by the lexan overlay and I tried several shortcuts as well, but 777 pointed out to mev in earlier discussion that in the 'legacy controller manual' for PT is described how to do this with the original HUI and this also works with the MCU.

It goes as follows. Hold the shift button which is right beside the aux A - E switches and then press the sends button at the top/middle position of the MCU.

It will flip the currently selected send, if you want to flip another send, select it first.
