Lauten Audio - new manufacturer?

Does anybody know this manufacturer? I saw this on a press release in a pro audio magazine. Is that a me too tube microphone from China or a real thing?

It's probably both a Chinese-made microphone and the real thing (as opposed to imaginary).

For $550 I'd expect mfg. in the East. But I could be wrong!

the mic in their webpage looks like the sontronic omega.

Call Erik Papp of Summit Audio and ask him to tell you the story about how this line came about. Summit is the new distributor as I understand and some very serious thought went into the design of this line.
It's supposed to be hitting the street any minute.
I'm waiting to demo one for voiceovers. Anyone else tried one?
