Job Opportunity in NYC

Hello Gearslutz members,

My name is Paul Oliveira and I am the Chief Technician for Dreamhire LLC (www.dreamhire.com). Regrettably, we have a couple members of our staff leaving us for better opportunities and are now in search of people to fill their shoes.
We are looking for someone to primarily test equipment, trouble-shoot, pack orders, and unpack orders. You can see what we have in our inventory by going to our website. If you are a gear freak like me, "testing" the equipment before it goes out on orders and comes back from orders, is actually fun (again, check out our inventory). Due to the size of our business, you might also be asked to setup and breakdown DJ gear and make an emergency delivery or two when all our drivers are on the road or unavailable.
We are offering better pay than any studio will give it's assistant engineers ( I know that isn't saying too much) and unlike most studios, we offer a comprehensive benefits package once the evaluation period is over. There is also the opportunity to make extra money when a client asks for an engineer ($90/hour) or tech ($60/hour) in addition to the rental (usually with ProTools or live setups). Those jobs go to those we deem qualified to represent Dreamhire. That extra money, earned on those jobs, can be a SIGNIFICANT amount depending on the hours a tech or engineer is needed and acts as another perk to being here.
So if you're interested, please email me at paul.oliveira@dreamhire.com. Regards,

Paul Oliveira
