Nashville

I'm currently living in the DC area and have been giving some thought to moving to Nashville. It seems quite a lot cheaper and of course its got that music scene. Any thoughts from any musicians and studio owners out there. I can't say I'm looking to open a studio but I've got a few other things up my sleeve.

Any general culture shock things I would need to know?

thanks

Paul

Nashville still has a lot of "small-town" feel - which is why we moved here 20 years ago. At the same time, it has most of the desirable things of a larger city with a lot less of the undesirables. As far as the music biz part - it's always been flooded with talent but there are a lot of opportunities as well.

I love Nashville. It's more southern than Atlanta, if you can believe that! I've always liked the vibe, even if I did particularly care for the people. Thought about moving there a couple of years ago, but decided I wasn't ready to start all over again.

i have to say that i love nashville. i'm originally from cleveland, oh and it was a bit of a culture shock comming down here. almost a year later i'm loving it. i'm pretty new to the engineering profession, but i have had some great oppertunities here, and more are presenting themselves everyday.

NASHVILLE RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
