As far as I can tell, it's identical. Of course the Spider doesn't have the pentode & triode emulation...

Compared to what, the Flamingo? The Spider has the Fat switch, which was designed to be similar to tube distortion, since you're talking pentodes and triodes. What's missing is the Iron switch (which the Flamingo has), but that's not related to tube distortion.

Compared to the HEDD, which is what the original question was. Who was asking about the Flamingo? (FWIW I have all 3 units - I'm not making this stuff up).
