Looking for a technical "mix preparation" Guide

Hi there,

I am looking for a technical "mix preparation" Guide (you know: edit your stuff before you send it to mixing, bounce in 24bit, start all tracks at the same time mark, things like that) -- one in particular. At the time I read it I felt like it was properly the most "official" document on that topic but for the life of me, I can not remember who issued it. I feel like it might have been the RIAA, or some huge label... but like I said, I can't recall. I am not even sure if it was any good, but it sure was comprehensive so I would like another look at it.

Does this ring a bell for any of you and if so, can you point me in the right direction? In addition, what is your favorite paper to hand out to people who request your mixing services?

Cheers,
Jochen
