Samson Carbon 49 driver failure Windows 8;

"DTMB BDA TV USB has a driver problem"

This midi keyboard worked perfectly on Windows 7. Now that I've done a clean install of Windows 8, it doesn't register. It says there are driver errors. I've looked everywhere, I've uninstalled and re-installed the drivers, I've tried updating the drivers. However, my computer says the drivers are completely up to date.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know!

Solution

Hey there,

I too had the same problem running Windows 8 with the Carbon 49. Somehow I was able to get it working as follows:

Go into your devices & printers. Right click, select remove device.

Unplug the Carbon 49 from the USB, and then reinsert.

Once it reappears in your devices & printers right click & select properties. And select the hardware tab.

Double click on the Samson Carbon 49 in the window below.

Select drivers, and it should give you the option to rollback the driver.

Select rollback & then re add your device in your recording software of choice.

Hope this helps!
