Noisy K2

had a session today at noon and warmed the mic up since 7am.
everything was fine all this time and around 4PM it started making a lot of noise...then it started sounding noisy..then started sounding like a fan was in the background slighty blowing on it..
is the tube blown?
i checked the wires to see if maybe they were bad but they seem to be fine going into the k2 psu.
o the mic is hot as sh!t.. its usually warm when i'm in a session but its damn hot right now

Sounds like the capsule has started to leak. Tke it back to your Rode rep it should be fixed for free even if its out of warranty.
