Sound differences between vintage V-72 and V-76 ?

I just wanna know if the V-76 (/80 /120) is soundwise "that" much better than my Siemens V-72.
I've heard different opinions so far, from "it really sounds better" to "you don't need a V-76 then", but never had the oportunity to make a comparison.
If you compare the price tags, I hope there must be a difference not only in size and mic-gain features....but maybe I'm wrong and just someone who believes the hype.

Thanx,
Phil
