Genelec 8040, Adam A7 or Dynaudio BM5a's ?!?

Hey guys,

Im plannin on buying a pair of monitors for my home studio and after doing much research these are the three finalists i have come up with.

Im mostly going to use these to mix rock music and maybe some hip hop on the side. Your suggestions and opinions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

P.S. - Im particularly interest in how the ADAM A7's compare to the other two as my local musical store doesnt have them in stock yet.

thanks beatsmith, but to be honest i've gone through each of those threads atleast 10 times and from what i gather:

mr.bob katz seems to be a big fan of the genelecs and he's indirectly suggested that when it comes to dynaudios anything smaller than bm15's are not in the same league. now from my personal experience i found that i liked the genelecs better in terms of overall sound while A/Bing them with the bm5a's. the bm5's to me sounded a bit thin on the low mids and didnt have the body that the genelec did.

having said that, the bm5s had great linear qualities and seem to be the popular consensus in this forum. im wondering if they are more forgiving of room accoustics than the genelecs. also a concern for me regarding the genelecs was that they sounded too smooth at times ( i understand thats something that can be learnt to work around) and the dynaudios might just end up being a bit more revealing.

so really it mostly comes down to the adams a7s and the genelec 8040's, with the dynaudio bm5's comin a close second. i think.
