peluso p12, vtb, 2247 vs tlm 49

This is very subjective but.......

Go with the Peluso P12. I love the VTB, but the P12 probably has the edge since it does the C12/251 inspired thing well. The 2247 just doesn't sound like a real U47 to my ears even though it sounds great. And the TLM 49 sounds more like an Announcer's Mic to me more than anything else.

Then replace the original 6072 tube in the P12 with a NOS GE Five Star 6072 to give you bigger and better body without a loss of clarity.

i read a loot of reviews and a most people love Peluso Mics,
for some reason theres not much info on internet or clips , or videos about this mic, but yeah i imagine its excelent!. have you record anything with the p12?

I have the exact mod above with nos tube and I love this mic. P12 is very hard to beat at any price range
