Thread Starter | Annie Lennox "A thin line ...." vocal chain?
Anyone got a clue how this full / up front / detailed voice was done on "It's a thin line between love and hate"? It's amazing how good this sounds. Thanks for any tips or info on how to approach this vocal. Step one.....Get Annie Lennox..... Step two........ ????? e

But seriously, I'm interested in this topic also. I regularly record a woman who has modelled hersilf big time on Annie Lennox (although she doesn't like to admit it LOL). | |

to my ears, part of it is scooping out everything around her voice. then during the harmonica solo that instrument comes up in the mids big time where the vocal was. It appears to me that pushing all the instruments away from her voice is part of the technique.
