Thread Starter | help with correct wiring altec 633a
when I disassembled the mic it was wired pin 3 ground but all the mic cables that i have are pin 1 ground. what is a standand wiring for this application??

Open the mic and look at the back of the capsule, where the three wires are screwed in. Hold the capsule so you have one screw at the bottom and two at the top with a small hole in between the top two. The bottom screw is the ground, labeled G, which connects to XLR connector pin 1. The top left capsule pin, labeled 1, connects to XLR connector pin 3. The top right capsule pin, labeled 2, connects to XLR connector pin 2. See the attached for more info. |
