Must Read Books...Also, be sure to peruse the the Audio Engineering Society's Internet Archive. (AES)...there is a fee, but it is well worth it. http://www.aes.org/e-lib/ I have learned a lot from snooping around there..

I highly recommend the 'Classic Albums' DVDs, they're all good.
'Dark Side of the Moon' and 'Never Mind the Bollocks' are my faves so far, there's a ton of info and knowledge there and it's so great to get to hear the multi-tracks and the word from the musicians and producers involved.

In the book department my fave is 'Behind the glass'. A must-have because it's some well-known producers/engineers in their own words.

'Mixing with your mind' by Mike Stavrou is a tremendously good book with a VERY different approach than your standard 'Audio Production 1x1' fare.
Absolutely worth the (rather high) price, I only applied but few of the concepts so far but it's been a real eye-opener.
