This is the bomb!!!!!

All we need now is an ipod with a digital input. Imagine using your Apogee Mini-Me or Benchmark ADC-1 into your iPod for field recordings. Man I can't wait. Does anybody know the current specs for the AD on the ipod??

This is fabulous.

Here's some FAQ from the Belkin site about the Ipod voice recorder.

I ordered one of these, but it doesn't look like it will be that useful for much- mono, frequency range starts at 500Hz.

Digital in or even a line in would rock!

But if Belkin is sending digital audio through the firewire port maybe some other companies could take advantage of this "driver"...

All we need is stereo recording @ 44.1/24-bit and it would work GREAT for field recording in my opnion. As long as you coul hook up Mini-me or Benchmark or something similar...

my 2 cents
