Digi002w/DBOXsumming.....I need to expand

Im currently running BLA digi002 with a DBOX. I want to expand for an additional 8 channels of summing with a BLA PM8 summing. But I need an additional 8 A/D go into my digi002 via ADAT. Is this possible and what is my best choice? I need a convertor that sounds similiar to my BLA 002 I just need some opinions GS. Thanks a million.

Alex

Apogee Rosetta 800. Sound great, works via ADAT, and can be had for less than $1,500.

Thinking of going this same route for a mobile rig.

There is a lot of stuff in that range. Lynx Aurora and Metric Halo seem to be two popular options.

I've been reading that my BLA 002 sounds like the Rosetta 800. So I think I may go with this. As this sounds like it would be a close perfect match to me. Im a little skeptical on the PM8 due to this article.

Black Lion Audio PM8 Summing Mixer

Any othergood substitutions that would allow mono panning controlling summing?
