Maybe you're thinking of the NAMM show. It's easy to get into AES shows. Just give 'em a few bucks at registration. You don't have to prove you work in the industry or anything like that.

Does anybody have any more hotel recommendations. Jules said he's been to the Mosser also. Micheal's booked there. The AES site has a map and list of hotels. Where are you guys going to stay.

Thanks

Brad, when you enter the Moscone floor, head to the right and it should be the second aisle in from the outer wall, about the 3rd booth down. The booth will be Front End Audio and we are sharing a 10x10 with "Shiny Box" out of Seattle (we were hooked up with Jon via Brad Avenson, Jon is super cool and has new products coming out as well). We're across from Synthax, Lundahl transformers, and a few booths away from TapeOp.

I'll be there to meet folks and also have our Safe Sound Audio UK product on display as well as upcoming things we have going on. Stop on by and holla.

Paul, you can email me for passes before the show and I will gladly get them out to you. Passes aren't made available for at least another few weeks or so from now.

EDIT: Passes are now available, see my signature line.

See you there!

We'll be there as well in booths-1322 A Designs Audio and 1427 Avedis Audio, Pearlman Microphones, BAE, and A Designs Audio.
We decided to take Jules' advice and demo the TM-1/Pacifica/E27, along with all the 500 Series Pres and MPA Series. Plus Showing some new product from both Avedis Audio and A Designs Audio.....should be a blast!
James Lugo is suppose to come by and sing in the booth as well So we'll have some headphones up for anyone who would like to hear the vocal chain.
It should be a great time in both booths.
Plus I think we'll be doing a "Give-Away" with GS as well. Jules is working on the details of that (I think)!
I'm looking forward to AES this year!

See ya there!

Silly woman.

Hahahaha!!!

Thanks Peter.

Yes, you finally get to meet the little lady. She's the reason I'm not pushing a shopping cart around town.

She always attends the trade shows with me. It's her chance to get some semblance of a vacation each year.

Ah!

Then you didn't tell her about TapeOp tutt

Great, I hope we have the time to have dinner together then.

SF is a great place to hang. Looking forward to seeing both of you there.

where to stay

I stayed at the Nikko in 2004. It is a nice hotel, and a short walk from Moscone. My initial travel estimate to management didn't factor in the Nikko though (its $40/night more than the cheapest one on the AES list). After all, the lower the cost, the more likely I am to be there and meet some of you. I will say now though that I will take a pass on dinner. Not everyone likes Thai food.
