your name is telling, but still, Id advise posting what kind of sound you seek imo, for most power drums, i would seek a room with a solid natural verb, probably at least 2 walls of stone/rock/brick--then enjoy automating mutes later, though I wont reveal more on tricks of certain producers:P since you seem to like Rush, I am sure you will like big stone rooms also, try Helios pre's if you can:P |

thanks natpub... yeah... love rush... but for this project I'm looking for more of a pop/rock/punk crossover sound... something like Greenday's latest or Billy Talent... Don't want to spend $$ on the usual suspects (phase one, metalworks)... looking for something comparable but not as expensive. thanks! r. |
