Anyone hip to Tom Morello's gear? It's probably nothing fancy, but through the distorted Marshall it sounds badass. Still, to me, this song represents one of the great rock mixes of all time. Andy Wallace is a ****ing genious. I love that guy!

By the way, I have the Foxrox Paradox TZF, which a through-zero flanger (apparently the first in pedal form), and it's an amazing flanger that everyone should check out. http://www.foxroxelectronics.com. It's capable of pretty much any sound, but I leave it on the TZF setting and it kills on the Hendrix sounds. I want to get a really nice flanger to augment the TZF such as the A/DA Flanger because there are times when I want to get a really clean flange sound when I get tired of my Phase 90 or Uni-Vibe, which is rare. For that distorted, sweepy flange though, I love the sound on the aforementioned track from the first Rage Against the Machine album. I read that it's an old Ibanez somewhere.
