| Attack and Release Times I know it really depends on what sound you are going for to really determine the attack and release times. I have read a bunch of stuff on here about what length people like to use for different things and they are always described with like "short, med, long" and the in betweens. I never really knew how quick short is or how long, long is. So, I was wondering how many milliseconds you would consider short, med, and long for attack and release times. |

| for me (and that's ALL i can speak to) fast is anything under 3ms, med to 3-20ms, beyond that is slow. release is more of a vibe thing, if it's releasing right away it's fast, if it's in time with the song it's medium, if it's slower than the song it's slow. purely arbitrary, but then, what isn't? gregoire del ubk |
