NS10M tweeter death. driver or Xover?

Out of the blue, with no abuse given to it, my left NS10 tweeter has gone silent. Speakers are 5 years old and have been treated well. How to I diagnose this, switch tweeters? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Swapping the drivers around is one way to do it, measuring the ohms/resistance with a meter is another way.

You might also have a dead solder joint or something stupidly simple. Crack 'em open & take a look!

I will get out my allen wrenches and check it out. Have been given the advice from a pro audio buddy that it's most likely a dead driver. How long will those be available I wonder? Are they all Yamaha after-market, or are there copy cats out there? So many questions, so little time.
thanks,
F
