SF SOUNDWORKS Seeking Full-time Paid Assistant Engineer

We've got a full-time, entry level position open. Please let me know if there's anyone you'd recommend! We stopped taking interns a while back since our work load is such that we just don't have the time to train anymore. Thanks for any help.

SF Soundworks is a professional recording studio that hosts a broad range of independent and major label projects from around the country (see client list below for details). We have three control rooms featuring two SSL 9000J mix rooms and a ProTools HD suite for tracking. If you're interested in building a career as an engineer or producer, this is a rare and important opportunity.

REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for audio engineering as well as music (i call this, the sickness ;-)
- Professional and articulate verbal and written communication skills
- Service-oriented attitude (taking orders, anticipating other's needs, making clients comfortable)
- Working knowledge and experience with ProTools
- Working knowledge basic analog audio (signal flow, cabling, connectors)
- Complete dedication to learning the craft including a tremendous amount of technical information including SSL routing and automation, analog tape machine maintenance and calibration, as well as advanced ProTools setup and operation
- Must be physically capable of carrying heavy items for session setup
- Must be extremely reliable and have consistent ability to get to the studio on time and stay until sessions are finished (typically 9AM - 9PM, sometimes much later)

TIMING
- Position available immediately

COMPENSATION (BASED ON EXPERIENCE)
- Assistant in Training: $1000 to $1500 per month
- Assistant Engineer: $2000 and up
