Shipping MK012 to Oktavamod from the UK

Hi, I've recently bought a MK012 and want to have it modded.

I live in the UK tho so I'm gonna have to ship it to the US. Anyone else done this? I've never shipped anything abroad before. Has anyone any experience with this and have any recommendations?

Use the post office and pack well. I've shipped several things the other way (USA to Europe) with no problems.

There's some info on the site about labelling the package as for repair to avoid import duty. Pack it well and send it ems or something trackable.

Shouldn't be a problem.

Alternatively, you could order a mod kit from Bill Sitler for $25 plus shipping.
That is, if you know someone who's handy with a soldering iron. (Small mic and delicate PCB, especially in the older ones, mind.)
