| I bought a cheap refurb unit earlier this year (Feb or March) from that custom sellers guy on EBay who told me that it would have the newer Pioneer A05 drive in it. When I got it, not only was it the older A04 drive in it, but the drive was seriously screwed up and spitting out coasters that had tons of errors on them (CD ROMs that I made wouldn't launch any programs because of massive data errors). Also, the unit couldn't pick up the discs from the DVD drive either... it would try three times and then completely halt the process. After a manual reset it would pick up the disc on the first try, but then when the next disc finished burning, it again wouldn't pick it up. Primera took good care of me since it was under warranty, though, and they sent me a replacement refurb unit that had the newer A05 drive in it, and it has worked fine. Unfortunately, I couldn't use it for the big job I needed it for since I didn't get the new one in time, and I've only used it a few times since then. The software could be a bit better. It would also be nice if it was compatible with nero style CD images that I can make from Wavelab... haven't found a way to make an image in wavelab that I can use with the Bravo directly, which kind of sucks as I don't want to have to "rip" the image from an audio CD first. Steve

| Pros .. works fine Cons - slow i had to tweak a custon file to get the borders of my cd's to line up perfectly when printing full labels.. (edges were white) .. But, other than that, it works fine.. about 25 cd's and hour when printing full art and burning.. Oh, also you get about 100-120 disks per color ink cartridge -Brad |
