MIDI - is this even possible?

Hi.

I want to control one multitimbral part of my nord lead 3 from my doepher dark time sequencer.

However I want to control the other 3 remaining nord lead parts from my MPC.

My Nord lead like most synths only has one midi in.

Is what I'm trying to do even possible?

You dont need all this modern day infinite everything VST crap with billions of options to make great music. Proof of this lies in the fact great music existed prior to the invention of the PC.
Great humans create great music. Instruments/equipment only aid in this process and are nothing more than tools. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a high quality human with low quality tools producing great music time after time!

Sure; you need a MIDI merge box. MIDI Solutions makes a nice one. You would send on one channel from the doepher, three other channels from the MPC, merge the two sequencer outputs together in the merge box, and plug the merge box into the Nord, setting up each of the Nord's parts to receive on the appropriate channel.
