Professional Monitor Switch

I have 4 pairs of monitors and one Amp. I only listen to one pair at the time. What I need is a professional 4 x monitor switch. I tried several switches from Electronic stores but they all suck. After a while, the contacts are not reliable anymore a.s.o.
I don't want to spend a fortune, but there must be something out there that does a better Job ....
Anybody any idea's ?

Amp is a Crown CE2000
Speakers are:
Westlake BBSM6
Westlake BBSM5
Yamaha NS10
Auratone Soundcubes

ProCo SwitchWitch. Handles 4 monitor sets off one amp. Simple...works.

Coleman makes great products. I have a Coleman LS3 that I use to switch between 3 pairs of monitors. Totally passive, transparent, and cheap.

Thankx for your reply !

@Steffmo: Looks good but can you really use it between the output of an 2000W Amp and passive speakers ? Are you using it that way ?

The describtion says as well:
"Four pairs of male XLR connectors labelled L and R OUT 1 through 4 are also located on the rear panel. They provide output connections for up to four powered monitor speaker pairs."

@Dave Gross: Looks good too but I really need four, do they make them for four speakers ?

Sorry Herby....it was 4 AM when I answered that. I don't think the switchwitch wants to handle that kind of current. It could handle 4 sets of powered monitors however.

.

We couldn't find a good enough standard unit, so we're having a custom unit built in Denmark.

I went through this for years.

Some companies you can try:

Welcome to Danfield Audio | It's time to be nice to your ears again | audio excellence from Denmark

Welcome to Crookwood

Analog Audio Consoles and Pro Audio Equipment by adt-audio

SPL: Sound Performance Lab

Crookwood's expensive - but they don't screw around.

Good luck!

I'm sorry, I should have read the whole post - I assumed (wrongfully) that you were using powered monitors. I haven't used any switchers for passive monitors.

I think all the ones mentioned so far are for active monitors. Have a look at Bryston. They are very good but not cheap. They do standalone 2/3/4-ways and a rack 6-way.
