My AMEK acts funny!

Hello!

Yesterday when I was mixing and compared different settings on my AMEK CIB the compressor started to act strange, or should I say didn't act at all! The only thing that came out when I engaged the compressor was a very tiny, quiet and heavy distorted sound! The EQ section of the channel still worked.

When going to sleep last night I thought I have had to send it for repair. This morning I had a feeling that I should try the compressor once again before send it in and you know what, It now works again!?

Am I going insane or is this commonly? Have anyone else had the same experience?

Now I don't know if I am gonna send it to repair or not. I cant send it in if it's working, can I!? They probably only going to send it back saying everything seems to be working ok.

Help!
