Pro Tools Plug in problem, help me!

I have this problem where I cant change anything on my plug ins. I can use factory settings or saved settings but thats all. I go to boost an eq or something and it sets to zero then thats all. Anyone have this issue?

Is it a demo version?
Have you reinstalled the plug?

Is it a specific plugin? If so, which one?
TDM or LE system?
What type of tracks are you working on.
Give us a few more details and maybe we can help.

Trashing a file called Digisetup.osx is never a bad idea if Pro Tools is acting funny.
