Just discovered a really good amp

I am a long time reader, but never post...too lazy. I have been the recipient of a lot of good information from this forum. Now, I think i have something worth sharing. Anyway, I am so excited about a new amp I just purchased that I have to pass it on.

I have been trying to improve my guitar playing skills. I recently purchased a new Quilter Labs Micropro 200 amp for my electric guitar. When it arrived I noticed that it was setup to also use a channel with a keyboard. I plugged in the Nord Stage 2 and dialed in a good Rhodes patch. Wow! I was really suprised to hear such a good tone come out of this small amp. I usually use QSC k10s as keyboard amps/monitors, and also have an couple EV ELX112Ps to try from time to time. I think I like this Quilter Micropro 200 better. It really sounds like a nice warm tube amp with a very clear tone. It is also only 21 pounds. I puchased the one with the 10 inch speaker. I think other keyboard players are going to love this thing when the word gets out. The vintage keyboard sounds are terrific with this amp. It also sounds very good with my guitars, but I admit that I am not a very good guitar player. keyboards are more my area. I will try to make a few demos with it soon. I plan to use it with the band at the next rehearsal. I love when a new gear purchase surpasses my expectations. Hopefully, other keyboard/guitar players out there will find this amp as cool as I do.

Glad you are happy with your amp. Sorry, I am too lazy to go to the link and read.

I just teched for a band whose guitarist swore by his and it actually sounded quite good! I'm glad the amps are getting some exposure.

my newest amp, a Vox Ac100 CPH was discontinued because it wasn't popular enough, but its little gems like that that give some of the most unique and best tones, so rock on with your quilter

Thanks Billly. I am definitely no expert on guitar amps, but I love when something sounds good and has great usable features. I'm just stoked that I can use this amp for both keys and guitar, and like how it sounds on both. I think I'm going to start paying more attention to the guitar amps used by the people i play live music with. I will keep an eye out to a Vox Ac100 CPH.

Or am I just daft?

I'm not sure that's a thousand dollar looking amp. For that money I'd keep shopping.
