Help with a Pop Punk Mix

I have been working on this song for a pop punk band and I am asking for advice and constructive criticism. Thanks.

Sounds pretty good! The guitars are a little muddy, and could use some brightening. The drums sound good and punchy, and the cymbals are balanced well. If you can get the guitars to where the drums are you're on it

Cheers!

How I can brighten the guitars? Is it all a matter of EQ?

Take a look in the low mid range and roll off some lows of the guitars, boost them somewhere in the upper midrange.

The whole mix sounds a little dull to my ears - It doesn't have the top-end sparkle/excitement that you get with this genre a lot.

The guitars and cymbals in particular could use some more top end.
