| Beatles on CD I cannot wait till the day that the whole Beatles catalog is re-issued on CD utilising modern 24bit remastering facilites. I believe that they should use the original mono mixes up until Sgt Peppers, as they are all clearly superior to the stereo ones that they used for most of the early albums on CD (not all - I know). Anyone who has a mono pressing of Revolver could tell the you the audio joys within. Or like Pet Sounds, they could put both mixes on the one CD. To their credit, some of the old CD's sound OK. Rubber Soul unfortunately is UNLISTENABLE! For some reason they remixed it brighter that the top of the Chrysler Building. Ouch! Nice way of killing a beautifully recorded album. Souless. Well, maybe one day... |

Or maybe Bob Irwin from Sundazed. People who make CD's sound as close to a great vinyl copy as possible.

| I think they should just remix the lot. Back then the mixes were meant for vinyl . Now the playback medium is digital. Why not mix for the medium? Why not go back to the 1st generation master 4 track tapes and sync everything up ( finally possible nowdays ).I though the ' Naked ' LP sounded heaps better than the original Let it Be .There's no denying the fact. The vinyl is already out there. Why not try new mixes. They could actually sound better . You know more bass . | |

| I have original vinyl versions of all the Beatles stuff, and I don't ever think they need improving. Another reason a turntable is a great investment is that a lot of the software can be had cheap. |

Any Beatles record from the 70's onward pretty much sound like shit. The "orange" labels. These are probably more-often-than-not the ones popping up on ebay. So, looking to the future, I would like to see this happen.
