NEW G4 will it work with old PT?

Has anyone seen an old PT111 system running on one

of the new (2003) four slot 1.25 gig/hertz G4's .....?

This won't work. The last G4 PTIII worked with was the "pinstripe" Digital Audio G4 which supported OS9.1. Any later macs required OS9.2. I had to go through this with one of my earlier PT rigs, so this is from personal experience. The Digi002 would be better than this in pretty much every respect and (assuming you only have one DSP Farm) you'd get more DSP from the host CPU running RTAS,

MMMMMMM ..... i'm using OS 9.2 on my very old G3 266 .. with
PT111 cards and 5.0.1 software ... go's real good .....so
is the G4 restriction software only ............ and yeah i do
a LOT of bouncing!
