good times at tape op con thanks fletcher

first room i go into is fletcher giving a demo on the three mic technique he has writen about on mercenary's website. lots of good info and all that but the best moment was fletcher cursing at the radar machine for not doing as he said.

then to top off the night fletcher, wearing a bikers jacket and smoking, runs diagnoly across the intersection in front of the fox theater holding up traffic. moments later he returns doing the exact same traffic stalling move. finaly he gets his harley and roars down the street. all i have to say is fletcher you are the ultimate bad ass. the world would be a much better place if we all had a little more of you in each of us.

ps anybody know where there is a wifi hotspot here. i had to use dialup... it is painfull

So I guess 'ya missed the Saturday morning, post Hotel Congress pool party huh?!

Good times...Fletcher, Ross Hogarth & JJ Blair passing an acoustic guitar around while another dozen or two of us were shooting the shit until about 5am when I wandered off to take pictures of the sun coming up over the mountains on the backside of the hotel.

But if you missed that party, then you missed Fletcher taking a beer cap off with his teeth!!!

THAT'S fukkin' badass.

I gotta make Tape Op Con next year...I've met Fletcher (and many of you) at several AES shows and I think he's been staggering around a bit each time...!
