good midi controller keyboard

any recommendations? I am going for a logic based system. with so many software synths I am planning on just getting a midi controller keyboard.

I am checking out the CME UF.

Any thoughts or should I get a Triton or something like that with sounds in.

cheers

I have a Novation Remote 61 that I really like. Feels good for a semi weighted keyboard.

The Novation SL series is the way to go!!!

100% no doubt about it the best midi keyboard for soft synths. Go the SL61 and you'll be more than happy.

CME are bringing out a new series called VX I think. They'll have motorized faders and heaps of controls etc, but the drivers are a little shacky from what I hear, and the build quality is not up there with the Novation gear. Especially the SL series which is a whole new design and production line. Very classy build and the best synth action in the business for my money.

for a budget solution with also semi-weighted keys, i like the M-Audio keystation 61es.

feels good, i like how it bounces back fast enough for lead work, but still not too light to put feelings when playing chords, don't feel "as cheap".

this is if you don't have a need for the knobs and other controllers.
