Removing grilles from Yamaha MSP5 monitors

I have Yamaha MSP5's monitors. When I got them the grilles were somewhat bent out of shape. So I removed them. Is this going to negatively impact their accuracy?

no in fact i have a friend who did that and he said the sound improved exponentially. his mixes became much better after that!

Only if you poke a hole through one of the speakers.

removing grilles

hi all,
can someone please tell me how to remove the grilles from the Yamahas MSP 5's as mine are all mashed up!
