Analogue level meters

Any recommendations for a rack-mountable analogue level meter?

It's application will be more or less a 'master' level meter for my monitor control (since my particular unit has NO metering system). I don't think a VU system would be appropriate, PPM or RMS might be more beneficial? If I'm on the wrong track here, please point me in the right direction!

Some units I'm considering:

Crookwood - Igloo (Stereo VU)
Durrough - 40-A (Loudness meter)

Check out the Coleman stuff, it seems very nice and reasonably priced.

Yeah it is a nice unit, but as I said I don't think a VU meter would offer beneficial metering for what I need. I just need a simple hardware based level meter to combine with my monitor control - this will aid with calibration and an exact measurement of dB feeding my monitors.

The dourroughs are nice tho I don,t use them for post master monitor knob.
I use them to view dynamic processing when mastering, but no reason
Why you couldn,t use them for that application.

These are the baddest meters around...

If you don't like DIY, you could probably get them to sell you a completed unit, it is a pretty simple build.
