This Tom Sound

As usual so far, I don't know where exactly this should go.

I'm really liking the tom sound here and want to know what has (likely) been done to get it. Feel free to be critical if I'm being stupid

An example of what I'm talking about is at 2:30, also 4:25

First off, BIG DRUMS. Loose but resonant tuning, not so loose that it becomes too staccato or papery sounding. I'd guess 2 ply clear heads, Emperors or maybe even Pinstripes. I'm not even gonna hazard a guess on mics and signal chain...
