| Yamaha LS9 communication to stagebox - help!
I'm having trouble with an LS9-16. It's connected through its digital card (Mini-YDGAI AVY16-ES100) via Cat 5e to its stagebox (SB168-ES). It was working fine, with signal passing and full control of the headamps from the console. Then the console got unplugged and moved and replugged... it still worked. Then it got unplugged and moved again, and now the connection between console and box isn't working!
The stagebox is powered up, and the Cat 5e connection goes from the console 'out' to the stagebox 'in'. It is set in its normal mode, not 'ring' mode. The phantom power settings on the stagebox are the same as before it lost connection (i.e. some channels have phantom applied, some don't) and if we plug in a source to a stagebox input we can see from its LEDs that it receives signal.
As you can see from the photo of the console's screen, a channel that has a stagebox input assigned (slot 1, for example) has a blank circle at the headamp and no control. If you attempt apply or remove phantom power there is no change on the stagebox.
The second image is from the headamp control page you get if you scroll through 'rack 5-8' menus. You can see that nothing appears there.
The third image shows that the 'tx' and 'rx' LEDs are flashing on the 'in' side. On the console they flash on the 'out' side, in both cases only when the Cat 5e cable is attached. This suggests that there is connectivity between them.
Finally a 'slot setup' page under the setup menus, with no information. I'm not sure what this should normally look like.
I have changed Cat 5e cables, rebooted, turned stagebox off and on, removed and reseated the console's digital card, and recalled a different scene file. I've also put the Cat 5e cable from console in to stagebox out, in to in, and out to out.
What is most strange is that it was working before and I don't think any change was made besides disconnection and reboot.
I'm hoping this is some obscure or obvious user error and not a fault with the console, digital card, or stagebox. Can anyone give me some advice to try? Do I need to bust out a PC and use any software?
